  1. 1993 The tenge enters circulation on 15 November, after a decree of 12 November.
  2. 2015 On 20 August Kazakhstan moves to a freely floating exchange rate; by November the IMF cites a depreciation of roughly 40 per cent against the US dollar since that date.
